The woodgas was cool.
The "claymore" was laughable.
The flame thrower and stun gun are non mobile and useless.
Someone needs to come by with firearms and take about half of them captive just to muck with 'em.

well, they did find solar panels and hooked them up to their "power grid" (for lack of a better term), that was ingenious but the used light sensors to follow the suns path inorder to get the maximum amount of sun... but how many warehouses in the run down warehouse part of town, just happen to have those particuler delicate parts when the rest of the ware house looks like a disaster zone...
the addition of the original "occupants" of the warehouse... hmmm... the ex-con-contractor guy just welcomed them in like a long lost friend and everyone else were sceptical... with good reason, they turned out to be a disruption to the rest of the group, they caused quite a few altercations with the group and they were stealing stuff left and right finally they had a big fight at the end and the blonde chick went from passe to full blown b-tch and final woke up to the fact that the are suvivors...

They've done the city. It would be cool to see a "Colony" based in the desert, the forest, a farm, mountainous region, possibly at different times of the year. Wouldn't a series of the show in the winter be cool?

they sorta did one awhile back called "surviving alaska" or something like that where a group of ordinary people not engineers and stuff, all started at one point and had to trek over a certain amount of miles and they had half shelters and all manner of things to over come... they even had guns it was pretty interesting to say the least

Wild. It would be cool to see a group try to stay isolated and self-sustaining in one place for an extended period.

I watched part of one tonight...the one where they are converting the old truck. All I gotta say is that blond nurse is HOT!

The Colony marathon was great. Loved the trike they built. They had to eventually move on to safety out of the city. Took notes on the radio, and the Tesla coil, that was cool. The best protection is a remote location, before that day.
