As a Texan I can tell you there is a sort of political exhaustion concerning Rick Perry.

The only reason he won in the last governor's race was because the votes were divided among four candidates. The total votes of the three other candidates definitely exceeded the vote for Perry.

If Sarah Palin wants to come to Texas to invigorate a Perry campaign she had better drop the popular girl/cheerleader of conservatives front and learn about problems in Texas then provide actual solutions. Otherwise, the press will treat her as a sort of political joke that will reflect how we will see her.

He seems not to have a record of doing anything against abortion.
