You folks that live in California need to move to Arkansas. We'd be glad to have you.
We'll teach you to Yodel, skin possums and armadillies.
You can hunt and fish and just have a mighty fine good time.

Come on...A.H

Made my opinion known.

Two thoughts -

Time to order an a$$load of ammo, it probably won't be vetoed.

You know who I DON"T hear complaining about this? The dealers I would be forced to buy my ammo from at whatever price they charge.

Marc, if it is not vetoed, it will be challenged in court by the CalGuns Foundation, NRA, SAF, and CRPA. They have made this known publically. It infringes on interstate commerce. Arnie vetoed it before in the guise of AB1274 because it directly infringed on interstate commerce and I think he would again. This one takes AB1274 and adds "gang violence" language to it to try to sneak it through as an anti crime bill.

Sunday I have to work however the Sunday after next I'm planning a trip to the Concord range near the old Naval Station to introduce some people to the wonderful world of firearms... :-).

If I can get someone to cover my shift I will try to make it though. What time are you heading over there?

Also what new toys?? Did you ever pick up that Garand?

I called and e-mailed him. I reminded him why he came to this country to begin with and because we are ARMED, he had a SAFE and FREE place to go.

Was thinking around 11 am. John might also be there. New toys are M38 and M44. The Garand might happen this month, we'll see. Be great if you can make it!

The Good word is veto, veto, veto. That is what Mr terminator will have to do to save face. It is Eric Holder who will have to watch on a federal level. These unreality beings will never understand the everyday life as you and I do. If we all lived by the 10 commandments our great country would be just that great. What happens in one state can happen in others. Just because we have state lines, we are still one Nation Under God.

It's really annoying to hear/read some of the BS that gets posted on the California Forum. Mostly from the out of state idiots and some that can't spell California. We'd be better off if some of those kept their mouth shut! (that guy from "Peoples Repooblik of Kaliforniastan" is a prime example.) They just give the antigunners more to fear (vote against) the civilized and resopnsible firearms owners

I make phone calls to the governor, I e-mail my reps, I'm very active on pro2A issues here. Are you espousing that I shouldn't exersize my 1A rights to freedom of expression? Perhaps we'd be better off if you spent as much time on the phone with the capitol as you do critisizing others about how we spell "Kalifornia". I'm in the PRK by choice. I want the good people of this state to be able to stand PROUD with firearm in hand.

So I stay and I fight.

To me it's more beneficial to state how I really feel instead of skulking around under the radar as some others do. Skulking around is how this state ended up in the big pooch screw that it's in now.
With all due respect to you sir, I am highly intelligent and very responsible. This is a thread to discuss the evils of AB962 and how to defeat it and your post had nothing of benefit as it was rather elitest and childish.

Why don't you join us and come on over for the big win ! If you don't wish to do that then get out of our way and let us do our job! Snide remarks and obtuse commentary are of no benefit here.

Where's Arnie going next

The Gov is done being Gov after this term so where does he go next? Some say he might take on Feinstein for her Senate Seat....if he does he will have to please a lot of Liberals (that admit to being libs ....not like Arnie...the Lib in Conservative clothing). I doubt that his attention is on the ammo bill and if he vetos it he's going to really upset a lot of the folks he may look to for his ongoing political career...We (me, family, friends and urgings through other web sites) have sent letters, e mails, made calls, spoken with assistants and aides....but we got to keep the pressure on...this kind of bill has been on again and off again for years but this time it's really a strong possiblity....Tomorrow is his day to decide as I understand it so don't let up...call and leave messages...e mail today so that tomorrow he gets lots of "input" when he shows up for work.

I have lived here for a very long time...married to a Native San Diegan.....we ain't leaving because we have our lives and families here...I'll call it Moskowfornia if I choose because that is how the government here operates...but that said...it only affects those parts of my life that I choose to allow. Darn right I have ammo stockpiled...I live 5 minutes from the Tijuana crossing. If they shut down and limit ammo sales...I'll just have to find a way to react....but not today...I'll push Arnie to do the right thing and if he doesn't veto the bill...time for the next move.

I love it when folks from other places urge us to get out...but often they are the ones that come to San Diego for vacation and to escape the winter cold or the hot, hot, hot Arizona and Nevada summers to sit by the bay and cool off..An old saying here is "tourist go home....but leave your daughters"....I'm too old to care any more.
