Welcome, I've never been to Elko but I used to work summers out of Fallon. Been to Battle mountain a few times for jobs. That's about as close as I've gotten.

Got Kin in Eureka I have'nt seen in years,my Dads brother(Don Morrison).He homesteaded there years ago and grows alfalfa,used to grow potatoes.Elko is aways north if they need to see a doctor or Hospital it is about a 100 mile drive one way or better.What are you doing out there?

Dakoma, We may well have sprayed his crop. We did some jobs in Eureka.
Don is the only Morrison from Oklahoma left he has sisters but Dad passed in1991 altogether there were 14 in the family his son Matt and Loyd also David work on the homestead,last year it was crickets that threatened their crop,it is rough out there his wife's name is Roberta we always called her aunt Birdie.Pleased to meet you.
