I figured I'd enter my "Oh **** Kit," at least that is what I dubbed it, as a package, but if I had to say one thing, probably the rifle I guess.

It is a CMMG upper assembly and bushmaster lower with CAA carry handle and CAA 6-posi stock. Also a CAA forward vertical grip and magazine slot.

I see the rules, mostly about a lot of bells and whistles,
That's OK,some cool weapons from skilled hard workers come from that source.
I just didn't know the criteria.
Thanks for an interesting thread.

Cute kid! Is she allowed to shoot it? If the answer is yes, she has my vote!

Yes. That's her "next step up" rifle from her Davey Crickett .22.

I was actually looking at some "youth model" single shots in .223 or 7.62x39 as her "next" rifle since I have a lot of ammo in those calibers. But, she is still a little recoil sensitive. The guys at my local shop got the Colt in and we gauged the LOP against a NEF single shot and the LOP on the Colt (with the stock fully collapsed) was about 1/2" shorter. So I bought it.

Now she just has to have a case "like Dad's" AR case. I'm creating a monster.

So are you going to trick out your AR in Hello Kitty furniture too?

Maybe.

Now that you mention that...that is my next "cost saving" step. Her next rifle will more than likely be my AR (with Hello Kitty furniture) when my RRA .308 gets here.

^ Why the itty bitty writing at the bottom? Is that so your daughter can't see it?

Nope.

It's hoping when my wife walks by the computer she can't read it. The wife doesn't know I already ordered the RRA .308 "planning" to use the kid as an excuse to do it. shhh. wink wink

Sprout kinda reminds me of my daughter, whom I taught to shoot and know right from wrong.
At the age of 12 she ran off a masked home invader with her .38 spl. Taurus revolver by putting a round into the floor by his foot as he taunted her,big mistake, she still knows how to take care of business at 37,gun,knife,or bare hand/foot.
She also got a presidental college scholership signed by President Ragen.
I am proud of her,my only child,as I know many of you are.

Thanks PSLMAN,but I tend to get REALLY carried away, that's where I got my name from.
If I really spoke my piece I would probably get the boot and a million labels.
'Till then I 'spect I will just pop off once in a while.
Again thanks, maybe you should be member of the month.
