I was thinking of getting a PF 9, or a P3AT; but I hear more and more about people having problems with the small Keltecs. I just talked to a dealer who does business in a 300 mile radius of here; he told me the same thing. I've seen some posts addressing this, but I'd like more input, please. Thx in advance.

I lost count of the rounds through my P3AT. I have had Zero troubles with mine.

kel-tec,to me seems to be flawless.at least mine has been and i have been shootin' reloads through it. mine is a p11 though. i have heard that the police officers use kel-tec as back up weapons and if thats true ,i'd say they are trustworthy weapons

How long have you guys had your Keltecs? I understand that the troubles have mostly showed up on the very latest production guns.

Hey littleman: Just got my P3AT and have fired several hundred rounds---perfection. I did make sure that I checked slide, barrel et al for any burrs or imperfections. Also use Militec 1 lube to ensure really good lubrication. Also used snap caps and kept "firing" gun with full mag dozens of times. Be sure you do not dry fire without snap caps. All in all---maybe I'm lucky or did all the right due diligence on a new gun but it was perfection. Go to the KTOG Forum for more info

I've had my PF9 for about a year, zero problems although I did do the "fluff and buff" before the first shot. Last time at the range, I was running short on time but still wanted to get some PF9 time in. I wound up putting 50 rounds through it in about 10 minutes (I only have one magazine) with no problems at all.

My wife hasn't had any trouble with her P32 either.

The SU16 doesn't like the factory mags at all, but the 30 rounders from Brownell's are flawless.

Fellows, I got a new P3AT today. I did some trading and also got 50 generic ball loads and 50 Fed Hydrashoks. I fired it where I got it; functioned fine, until my hand somehow released the magazine. I cleared it and slapped the mag back, and it perked right along.
I'm gonna have to watch how I hold it, so I won't drop the mag. in a dire situation

I have trouble with releasing the mag when racking the slide on my PF9. It's just RIGHT THERE under your thumb.

After much practice, I've mostly got it licked now.

No problems with a used P-32 I picked up a while back.
