Hey, anyone out there?

Has everyone moved out of Arizona? I'm not shooting much in this heat, but it gives us time to work on the guns. Anyone doing any neat gun projects?

Hey azgunnut01,

I have been trying to check the AZ section but haven't seen much goin on, and even I haven't been on in a few days.

Lessee, gun projects, well I bought a quad rail at the gun show 2 weeks ago for my AMD65 AK. That front pistol grip made it difficult to put in the 40 rd mags. I like the way it looks now, also changed out the back wood grip to a SAW style from Tapco.

I'm like you, no shootin in this heat, maybe a trip to Caswells indoor range.

What part of the valley are you in?

I'm not doing much gun stuff this summer, too damned hot. We do shoot a few rounds of trap on Friday nights though so I have been reloading some 12ga stuff.
I bought used Rem 870 12ga express and am working it up as a HD gun. I can sit in the Man Cave and mess with my stuff under the fan.

Haven't been doing much other shooting though,

Hey, a better avatar anyway! Building an AR and looking for some tan furniture. I may get some Cav arms if I can find a milspec buffer tube. Redoing four guns that made it through Katrina and need some tender loving care. I think my relatives are starting to call me the "Katrina repair man."
