Grew up listening to polkas. Family was from PA, and had have a strong German, Ukraine, and Czech background.. Hey, how about John Stanky and the Coalminers!!!!!!!!  :

It was the wedding of my day supervisors sister. His name was Byzwick, shortened from Blezyvich. It was the real deal. Started on Friday afternoon and wound up Sunday night. Would have been impossible to have sampled all the food that was brought/prepared. I think the Polish people wrote the book on throwing a celebration.
