After work I have to help my daughter pack for a week of camping with her Grandparents at Lake Cumberland in Kentucky.

I think my day qualifies for hair raising which, considering the sparcity of hair on my head may be a good thing. My son, his girlfriend, his two kids ages 11 and 6, and their rat dog on speed showed up last night for a few days. Grandma, the cat, and I aren't used to hullabaloo such as is going to ensue. It may be enough to drive me to helping Billy with his top. Save me! Save me!

Well I'm on my 3rd day of 12 days off and just got back from my morning run. Now I'm trying to see if I can muster the energy to do weights! Spent 4 hours with the gas trimmer and on the lawn mower yesterday. So today parents are coming thru on their way to Regina so will go up to the highway and meet them for lunch. Then maybe to the range or my buddies pool as he is away and the rug rats won't be in there screaming and bugging me lol.

Trust me, we discussed it. It gets even better. The girlfriend's grandparents are coming to dinner tonight. Let's see, I still have some Vicodin and Vallium left over from when I hurt my back 10 years ago. Wonder if it still works?

Well, we survived the week. The cat's nerves are a little worse for wear but we made it. The kids' Jack Russell is a pretty good dog when they aren't here and letting him be. I'm sitting here listening to "The Sting" soundtrack, drinking a Coke, and seeing what has gone on in the rest of the world while I've been gone. Whew!!!!!
