It just keeps getting worse and worse




AHHHH I THINK MY MOSIN ITIS JUST GOT WORSE 10 FOLD!
I was flippiong through my Cheaper than dirt catalouge and I saw this....Its on order.....should be here in a week.....jeez i thought it would stop...but at this rate im gonna have to start snorting cosmoline to make it stop....if you need me ill be in my foxhole setting off explosions and calling my neighbors commrade

Are those vintage ? If so they sure kept well the helmets I have from that era sure are not in that good of shape . Mine are all american save one nazi officers hat .

.....long time ago a buddy brought back a Russian army hat and gave it to me. I had it long before I started collecting mosins. He was working in Moscow and offered an enlisted army soldier 10 bucks for his hat. The guy gave it up very quickly. His buddy standing next to him started yelling at him. Apparently, he was risking big troubles for selling his hat. 10 bucks American is apparently a lot of money to a Russian private.

My mom threw my cheap commie flag in the laundry. My proud red banner ended turning everything in the wash pink.

25 years ago no one could buy this stuff, unless some on bought things off an ex-GI or his estate.

i remember drooling over the images of the CZ-52, and believed i would never get one, but i did!!!

It's funny you mention the 25 years ago thing. Because just the other day I was talking to my wife about those big red stars people put on there houses and barns and nobody would have done that during the cold war era. I am sure the people with them don't make the connection though.
