Gentlemen, I don't think that the OP meant any harm by posting this, I think he was simply confused as to where to post it.
The response to this thread has been less than flattering, and frankly I find it appalling that some of you felt the need to poke fun at the situation.

I am so pleased that as a new member I gave you guys a great laugh. I have my own forum and if the people on there (inc mods) welcomed new-comers the way in which I was welcomed on here, they would have been banned there and then.
English muffins are great I admit, so I don't blame you for loving them so much, as the Americans muffins just want to make you hurl (be sick).
