The part that confuses me is:

"Owners of airguns that use self contained air cartridges (Brocock / Uberti / Saxby and Palmer / Crown) have to apply for a FireArms Certificate (£50) before 30 April 2004. Failure to do so could result in a mandatory five-year prison sentence under the Criminal Justice Act 2003."

What does self contained mean? Like the co2 cannisters? Or guns you fill from a can? I have a Beretta 92fs, I have asked others do I need a FAC and have been told no. I'm not convinced as the above is a new law from 2004, and are the people advising thinking of old...
