What kind of paint for my no.5 MK.1?

My jungle carbine needs the metal refinished. It is not blued but has some sort of paint where it still remains. To redo this gun the right way what kind of paint should I use?

i have also read that flat black stove paint works well too.

As far as I know the only person in the USA (I assume you are in the US) who has the correct paint (Suncorite) which is baked on is Brian Dick at BDL Ltd
