I aquired an old mossberg 8000v heavy barrel 22-250. I have been pleasantly suprised by loading 55gr nosler ballistic tipsover imr4064 and getting 1/2" groups. I can't find any info on the web about twist rate on this rifle. I really have no idea what year it was made but looking on a mossberg collectors site it probably is from the late fifties early sixties.
