XD Sights install

Anyone done it.I have some adjustble fiberoptics for my xd45 tactical,Gander mntn said they couldnt do it,I cant even get the factory ones out.Destroyed the aluminium punch that came with them and bent my brass punches,I am stuck in the mud on this one.Any advice would be appreciated.

I have been wanting to do this to mine for awhile. Just dont have the time or money right know.You should get some help from one of the knowledgable members here.Please post pics when you are finished.

i think they use a 25k press to install them so you might need someone that does them professionally

now you just have to bench it and make sure its shooting true.

Springfield uses 25 yards for thier POA/I , not sure if you want to do the same but it seems to be the standard

You're going to need a sight removal tool to remove and replace.

I am considering a set of tijicon night sights for my XD Subcompact. I think if I was going to add them I'd spend the money to have a gunsmith put them on. The added cost is worth the piece of mind. I just bought myself a crimson laser for Christmas. I installed it last night but hanen't been to the range to test it out. The instructions say if was sighted at 50 feet and look pretty simple to adjust if need be.
