Thumbs up Fishing results today (7/29/09)

Fished with my buddy, Lenny, today at Smithville Lake in NW, Missouri. As usual, we tied up to a concrete pier under a bridge in the shade and enjoyed a day of catching lots smaller crappie (under 9") and one 15" blue catfish, two channel cats (one 15", one 12") one striped bass (12") and one large mouth bass (15"). Not bad for a fun day.

I just might go back tomorrow...well, I'll just do it.(ha)

Great photos Ox! You lucky dog you! I have to get another boat so I can try your tie off to bridge pier technique... it seems to be working well!

I didnt see your friend Lenny holding any fish in his photo???? Is the captain manuevering the boat such that he has the best spots??? J/K!

Enjoyed them... still jealous of your famous giant sequoya tomato trees you grow pictures! LOL

When you get tired of catching little crappies and wanna fish for the bigun's let me know and I will take you to the spot where 12 inchers are small LOL
