1981 Yamaha XS-400 Special II ........................1996 Yamaha Vmax
The XS-400 is almost ready, just needs some new gas line & carbs rebuilt. Got it for the wifey
The V-Max...as you can see that the engine is removed from the frame...needs a total engine rebuild & a new back tire...it was ragged out to the Max...
Oh, and that White Fairing that you can see behind the V-Max will end up on the XS400
I've learned the hard way to make a bike look as much like a Cop Bike as possible...lots
more folks SEE you when they think that big white fairing is a Cop Bike for a few seconds

big shrek, your pictures of your XS 400 brings back some memories. I rode one eactly like the one in this picture in the Philippines for almost 4 years. My Supervisor bought it brand new on base and road it one time and put it down. It scared him to death. It didn't have any real damage done to it. I paid 300 dollars for it.

I've never really ridden motorcycles but I do like them. I spent almost six years picking up crashed bikes(corner worker) at Sears Point. www.afmracing.org
Big Shrek, my boxes are mounted on steeltube frames marketed under the Studebaker name (made in China, of course), and sold by Bike Bandit. The boxes are the basic surplus "Fat Fifty" ammocans, painted to nearly match the bike. Two knobbd bolts are inside, screwing into the mount tubing. The boxes are a bit too short for the lower securing blocks though, so the boxes aren't as secure as I'd like. Looking for bigger boxes that don't break the bank. Carries my road tools, Slime pump and some camping gear though.
No bikes...but l've had fun on this quad. When I was a teenager in H.S. I drove a "Famous James", an English bike....but I'm betting nobody here has even heard of that one. It was designed for hill climbing.
I don't ride anymore but this was my last one and yeah it's been a few years since this pic was taken. 1966 Harley 74 Electra Glide. I basically rebuilt it from the ground up and did al the work myself. Even made the fork covers for the 4" front end out of a scavenger pipe.
Haven'y figured out how to post pics yet,
but I bought the kid a Yamaha ttr 125 for Xmas last year.
Of course he can't ride alone so I bought a wr450 for myself
