If that is the case, perhaps we should have the cities of Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, Corpus Christi, Denver, as well as others removed because man-made objects should not spoil the serenity of the area...they all have spoiled the serenity of the coastlines and mountains. All of those areas were public land and technically still are.
And then we have public parks, cemetaries that have public access, and not to mention little memorials along the highways where someone's child was killed.
It all starts with an obscure simple cross in the desert that has been standing in reverence remembrance of World War I dead for the past 80+ years because one s---head living in Oregon may be offended if he happens to drive near it and sees it.
When will this insanity stop?
