For those of you who have planted blackberry bushes...how tall are yours? The only blackberry bushes I've dealt with were on my grandmother's property in Eastern KY. They would only get tall if there were wide on the ground. But my buddy has blueberry bushes that are 7-8 feet tall, but only 4-5 feet wide (which is perfect for my intended application area). Unfortunately for me, I like blackberries much better than blueberries (and have a LOT more recipes for them).
Are there any types of blackberry bushes that grow tall (7-8') without the need to spread out horizontally?
