I'm afraid I don't know who Andy Rooney is. But that doesn't alter the power of his words.
I'm a wavering agnostic / athiest. But the truth is there. I have arguments with hard-core athiests all the time when they try to push their views on me.
No matter what, this country was founded on judeo-Christain beliefs and I feel it is all the better for that. Regardless of anyones personal beliefs, trying to follow the teachings of Jesus can only lead to a better world. (i'm trying to find a church, but it's a bit daunting).

ok. I just read Andy Rooney's Wikipedia page. turns out he bacame an athiest in 2008, so he probably didn't write the original posting. he has a bunch of good quotes though.

I get many of these chain letters, they are all full of wise words, I don't know why people feel the need to attribute them to celebrities and servicemen.

Howdy everybody I've been up a while and ready for a wonderful day. It was cool out last night and this morning but the Sun will soon heat things up. But there's know Humidity which makes it more comfortable to be outdoors.

There is that Nip in the air that hunting season is just around the corner, there's a feeling I get this time of year that draws me and cause's me to ready myself for hunting season, I can't explain why this happens other than maybe it's something in my/our genes. I bought ammo for Dove season last Friday that will be opening soon here.
I'm good to go for Squirrel and Deer season. Yep it is a good morning.

Mike, that was a very well presented post regardless of who wrote it. The videos presented by you and LTS were inspiring.
Our Nation was indeed founded on the belief in God. It is in our Constitution and on our money.
I agree with Troy that there are a lot of sensible things said there.
