Had a chance to do that at an airshow in Wales. Loop and back flip from a 500' hover was done routinely by the army display team, but we (fleet helicopters) were not really supposed to do it. I bastardized another maneuver that snuck a full over in there and got away with it. Got good comments from the other pilots too. Lynx was sure a fun helicopter to fly. I don't think they take them to such extremes any more.

Thanks for the video. I've been plane crazy since I was a kid, even if I can't afford to fly. They had some rare birds in that video.
