Well to start off, Saturday I took my mom to a local talk show Freedom Concert. It was a really patriotic event with a lot of Veterans and service men and women. With the likes of Lee Greenwood performing and a few other famous people.
But the most interesting person I met was well known Col. Oliver North. He was a really nice guy and did some stuff for the local family's of soldiers that were killed a few months ago. And at the end they had 3 guys from Iraq talk to their family's Via satellite, that was really cool.
Managed to pick up his book "American Hero's" and it was signed by him. its been a good read so far. but i just wanted to share my weekend with my fellow G&G friends.

Sounds like a nice event to attend. I worked around the house and did some things most guys usaually want do. I'm not working but my wife is so I did alot of things that I usaually don't do. I did laundry, cleaned house, mowed the yard and swept out the carport...I hope she does'nt expect to do this all the time...A.H
