How many times has a helicopter been there to evacuate a wounded soldier? All those Huey's in Nam?
I also liked the last picture, #49, the air balloon in the morning mist, very cool. But they're all good in some way. |
Hi, Glock, had an interesting experience yesterday when I was target shooting at one of the PA game lands shooting areas. The shooting range is in a very desolate area at the foot of the Laurel Mountains. No one else was at the range, and the quiet was beautiful (except for my shooting). I heard a Huey (they are distinct) in the distance, and coming closer. I almost wet myself when it topped the trees, real low, and stood there in the air about 20 feet above me. I could see the pilot and 1 co- and waved. The co- waved back and off they went. I have been thinking about it, and I think they were out looking for marijuana patches in the deep woods. But this was exciting!!!!
