Flaming Texas Style Chili for Lunch.

We are making a big pot of home made chili for lunch today here at work. It has ground beef and ground turkey with banana peppers and cayenne peppers with a little home grown habanero pepper added for a little fire...We put in a call for Air Care to be standing by.

What's on your menu today?

Though I only drink coffee in the morning JimKim. Next time I eat Chili I'll try a cup with it.

You guys and gals got me started yesterday, so I had to go make me some chili, LOL !!
Do any of you use unsweetened chocolate in your chili? It really makes a big difference. You can't really taste chocolate, but it puts a definite note in the background.
I also will put some leftover coffee in from time to time.

The sublt flavors of unsweetened chocolate and even coffee do add a distictive pleasant flavor to chili! Now, I am hungry!!!!

I use cocoa sometimes. I always use coffee in it, along with drinking coffee with it.

I posted this link once before. It's a copycat Wendy's chili recipe. Wendy's Original Chili (Copycat) - 196578 - Recipezaar This one tastes like the old Wendy's chili before they added celery.
