Sako A5 .270 bolt question

I recently inherited this rifle. I removed the bolt for cleaning and i cannot seem to get it to fit back in the receiver. I am familiar withe remington type bolts, but this one is beyond my abilities. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The locking lug-front part of the bolt must be aligned with the rear,There is a piece of metal to align on both pieces-You should be able to see it as I remember.Had the same problem and drove me nuts-If you dont see it I will pull mine out of the safe and verify the procedure.

If you would be so kind as to verify this procedure. I have lined up the only movable part of the bolt on right hand side. The bolt slides in smoothly until about 1 inch from being fully engaged, then it stops. I shot the gun yesterday and all seemed well, fed and ejected shells etc.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Some how bolt had become "decocked". was able to rotate rear of bolt to cocked position and bolt fell in line!
