"Hit 'em hard and often"...I'll second that, LOL I don't really believe in zombies, but if WWZ did happen, I'm all about pumping some lead in the head!
I need to buy me a supremely viable 10/22 and a .410 pump ASAP. Which do you think would be more effective on zombies...solid or HP .22LRs? LOL

i'm still a newbie so i can't answer that with any real knowledge. Do they make .410 slugs?

one of the outbreaks mentioned in WWZ happened about 4 blocks from where I live now.

Finally some research that makes sense! You have to unquestioningly accept the findings of a man whose last name ends with a question mark! Notice how they keep saying zombies don't exist yet they spent all that time on this project?...uh-huh!

I like the way you think. JMcDonald the inventor of the "Supemely Viable" 10/22 should be in the Firearm Hall of Fame right up there with Winchester, Browning,Gatling and Garand....

He is One Hell of an American.

That quote from the story is great. Love it!

"My understanding of zombie biology is that if you manage to decapitate a zombie then it's dead forever."

Professor Neil Ferguson

Anyone see that Mythbusters where they try to break out of a buried coffin? Not an easy task. We may be under attack right now and not even know it!

I agree, Wun. I've worked with some zombies my whole life, except at quitting time I can't seem to be able to identify them.

yup, ours walk at reasonable speed only when they're heading for the 'smoko' shack or mess-room but when they head the other way (like back to work) the zombie mode kicks in and they have difficulty dragging one foot in front of the other! Some days I feel like just literally kickin ass but it's considered non PC and possibly racist.

any way the study is conclusive, forget the firearms, why waste ammo.

Folks, zombies are the least of our problems. We should be far more concerned with the "Vampires" in Washington who are suckin' the life outta our Nation. Anyone wanna help me make some wooden steaks?
