Thumbs up Hakim Pics

I love the newest member of my collection. The engineering fascinates me.

They are neat looking rifles. There is one at a local gunshop here that is not as nice looking as that one. I forget how much they are asking though.

Could have had one at a Paun shop for $175.00 and passed ,he would not come down we haggled and I passed.Probally should have bought it,they can be adjusted for diferent ammo, adjustable gas system.Heard of people getting their thumb or finger chewed up if you dont know what you are doing.

Can you provide the name of the pawn shop please? That sounds like a very good no-haggle price if the gun is in good condition. I'd say it is likely half of it's value conservatively. I love my hakim too baconbits. I have only had bad luck shooting some Turkish 8mm that I bought in a bandolero on stripper clips. That ammo is too hot for the Hakim even with the gas valve turned down. Here is a picture of mine:

The guy went into loaning money for your car title and the rifle is probally in the hands of a collector. What is a fair price for a Hakim is good to verry good condition or the going price ,most I have seen are in verry good condition?

Beautiful rifle there! Very interesting design. Wouldn't mind getting hold of one one of these days myself.

Paid $450 but the best part was that he was in VA so no shipping and he tossed in 55 rounds of surplus 8mm and it included a bayonet. So all in all I think I did okay.

I kind of like the looks of them as well. Maybe someday. but too many things ahead of it on the wishlist. But it's on it now as well. lol

You both have very nice looking rifles.
