Man that AK has got a serious eating disorder.....went thorugh 200 rounds in 30 min.....never made a rifle actualy smoke before...not ssure if it was the wood or the oil under the wood....kinda strange to be shooting a rifle that is smoking from the hand guards The think defitly tosses the brass....probly take someone out at a rage of 15 ft with just the ejected brass

Now I just have this strange urge to wrape a towel around my head...buy a camel and run around the neighboorhood yelling JEHAD

Those smokey hand guards would be frowned upon on the range, the stink is terrible. Had a similar problem with my Norinco SKS a few years ago. Just keep feeding her and it will get better. Hung my Nagant M44 in the back window of my truck last summer and had cosmoline dripping out of it on hot days too.

My Commanche pal has one and it is the biggest blast to shoot. Heck 200 rounds in 30 minutes? - did you take a coffee break?

Just be careful there, Mohammed! If you heat that oil up too much, you'll be having a bonfire on your barrel. Saw it happen a couple of times. It's also the laquer on the wood, too.
It'll be pretty hard to swing yourself up on your camel with your hands wrapped instead of your head....

i kinda like the smoke myself .before i let anyone shoot my ak i oil it down real good .we had it smoking so bad one time you could not see the guys hand or the front of the gun.just alot of smoke and a big red flame out of the front lol.they are so much fun to shoot one day i'll be able to shoot mine again. till then i just buy the rounds for other people to shoot. you should try it fully auto it is alot better and easier to handle.

I got the .223 SAR3 and I had it out the last time with all four 30 round mags loaded. I wanted to see what would happen if I pushed all four through as fast as I could.

I got through two and I got scared. It didn't smoke but I could see serious heat waves coming off the barrel so I stopped right there. I do know this: those 60 went through quickly and flawlessly.

It's one of my BO weapons, I know that.

Alan...have you tried the Neon front post inserts? Any good?

i pushed rounds through mine till the barrel was grey .the ak can handle it .that's what it was made forto hold up and keep shooting when all the others won't. the ak stands for ***** kickin assault rifle.lol

Only 2 aww you big chicken!!!! i've bump fired 6 mags at a time, and yes that sucker was smokin' like crazy, got a picture of it some place!!
