A voice of reason in dissecting the health-care doubletalk...

Writing in the New York Times last month, President Barack Obama asked that Americans "talk with one another, and not over one another" as our health-care debate moves forward.

I couldn't agree more. Let's engage the other side's arguments, and let's allow Americans to decide for themselves whether the Democrats' health-care proposals should become governing law.

Instead of poll-driven "solutions," let's talk about real health-care reform: market-oriented, patient-centered, and result-driven.

Rather than another top-down government plan, let's give Americans control over their own health care.

Also...

"(12) Only national health care can provide "coverage that will stay with you whether you move, change your job or lose your job" -- as Obama said in a New York Times op-ed.

This is obviously a matter of great importance to all Americans, because, with Obama's economic policies, none of us may have jobs by year's end."

The American people already angrily denounced the plan in town hall meetings across the country and even Obama's most generous pollsters are warning him that he had better back off. You would think that after Joe Wilson's parting shot in the debate, a statement that represents the feelings of an angry nation, Obama would get the hint. The truth is, I think Obama is a willing pawn to a bigger, more powerful and sinister movement to socialize this country. It actually started in 2000 with Al Gore and has been relentless ever since.

Angry

It started with Bill CLinton, but he let "Little Willie" do his thinking for him, and lost his way - I imagine his handlers were not pleased......

bobo's smug elitist attitude and narcissism won't allow him to believe he can be wrong. He will continue trying to cram his Socialist HealthPlot down our throats. He can forget any ideas of a second term. Even his own Party will see him as poison.

Remember, Obama was not the first pick of the international-socialist movement. Al Gore was always their poster child, and still is. After Obama won the nomination of the Democrat Party, it became a situation of "well, he's close enough and he'll have to do." Rest assured, the DNC will be more careful in the future, and through Pelosi, others are being looked at. Of course, they'll back who they think has the best chance of winning in a general election.

I recieved an E-mail from Doris Matsui, one of our "beloved" libs in the PRK.
She had the nerve to push NObamas health care plan at me and left a space for "comments"

This is what I wrote in the comment box:

(Cut and pasted)

I don't like the fact that some may be "fined" $3800 for not carrying insurance, further pushing them into financial ruin, WE'RE NOT CARS!. Not to mention the fact that our taxes will go through the roof and our children/grandchildren will foot the bill for it. You all should be ashamed. This bill needs to die and if it don't most of you will lose your jobs next election.
I met you once ma'am, You are a liberal not to be trusted with our freedoms including our 2amendment rights. AB962 should have died. If I'm incorrect in my assumptions I apologize but as a Dem, you're standing up for everything that is wrong in this country. We will not bow to Socialism! Those of you running this country have ZERO common sense. I just hope we can give all of you a pink slip before you destroy us all!

And then I submitted it.

Theres about 50 million American citicens that do not have any kind of Health Care Insurance.
Even if a Health Care plan that we all could agree on were passed........................

Where are the Doctors going to come from to care for 50 million more people ???

I foresee long waiting periods to see your doctor if Health Care pass's.

THAT is an EXCELLENT observation!

And guess what! There won't be many new doctors going into debt to go to school, either, if they can't make any money under the new Bill after they graduate.

If Socialized Medicine is so great, why is the United States, which has resisted SM, looked to as the leader in Health Care in the world?

50 million

They started out with 47 million and now they are down to 30 million after they subtracted out the 17 million illegals. Naw he wasn't lying.

Good response Dragunov. Our legislators and administration officials need to hear directly from us. Every email that I send to any Congressman gets a courtesy copy sent to the rest of my congressional delegation and a copy even goes to the president if I choose. That way, everybody is on board with my feelings at the same time. I use the NRA-ILA :: Action Center link to correspond through The subject does not have to be about guns. Just click it, enter your ZIP CODE, or the name of a person, and you will be directed to their offices with a blank form to type in. Submit it and you’re done. You will receive a confirmation letter from each official in your email by the end of the next business day.
