| My Controversy: To fruit the beer?
It's wrong. Although a Blue Moon with an orange slice isn't half bad.

if its done properly its good. some beer with coriander in it benefits from fruit. Shock top, Blue Moon, and Leinenkugel sunset wheat. some beer that is brewed with fruit aint too bad either. Sam Adams Cherry wheat and berry weiss, Magic Hat #9 and Arbita(?) Purple Haze are pretty good in my book

If you are talking about adding fruit or spice to the wort to get a specific taste, I don't have a problem with it. (It's just that I prefer my beer to contain water, hops, malted barley and yeast and nothing more. I'm a purist.) But if you are talking about beer that's so bad you have to add fruit juice to it to make it palatable, e.g., Corona, pour it back into the cow and go buy yourself a real beer.

I agree with Cyrano. If it is added in the wort then it is ok. I am not a fan of adding fruit to beer. In Germany they used to put all kinds of things in beer and it blew my mind. Banana nectar, Coke, Sprite, Orange slices, Lemons, you name it they added it.
I don't care for Lagers as much as I do a good Ale. I will drink a Lager only if there isn't an Ale available.
If I wan't something fruity tasting I will crack open a Hornsby Hard Cider. They are great tasting and the alcohol content is at 6% so they will sneak up on you quick. They taste so good that it's hard not to drink them fast. My wife found that out last night the hard way lol. Two bottles for her and she was drunk.
