mossberg 535 cycling problem

I have a 535 and it is starting to give me problems cycling up the next shell.. It ejects just fine but sometimes I have to pump it 2 or 3 times to get the next shell up. Any thoughts as to why? It is only about a year old and maybe 100 rounds through it....Thanks..

I would probably call the company and see what they say it should still be under warranty so if there is a problem they will fix it for you.

the problem is those 535 are pretty useless..i had and it was garbage...the pump is made from plastic and mine broke twice and iv only had it for a few months...warranty covered then first forearm and that was it...i bought it september 2009 brought it in october 2009 and cracked the same day i got it fixed...so i sold it for 250 bucks with 3 barrels 4 chokes 100 rounds of target loads 25 sabots slugs and a red dot scope with a sling and a case..i couldnt get much for it

Wow, I love mine it has worked great for hundreds of rounds. I'm not sure what you mean by the pump is plastic, mine is metal.

It sounds like there is something wrong with the elevator. Mine is a state away right now or I would look at how it works.

I have a 535 too and it does it to me too. I have to really rack it back hard to make it load the shells.
