I had an economy savvy friend approach me yesterday with serious concerns about what's going on in US/world...
...and he wanted to know about family preparedness, what he needed to do to stock up for what's ahead.
This man is very affluent and I would have thought, from seeing his mini-mansion and many toys, that he had also taken steps to ready his family for what could happen...
...not the case, he'd previously felt a sense of invincibleness because of how well things had gone for him and his family.
Well, his previously lucrative business pursuits went belly up in a flash and he's now bearing the heavy weight of the affluent lifestyle on his unemployed shoulders...
...he's awkwardly dealing with a very difficult situation, an emergency preparedness situation that he never thought was necessary to consider or prepare for.
We talked and will talk more about what he can do to see his family through this difficulty...
...and it was good to see that he's opening his eyes to the reality of what has been and is happening in the US/world and the need to not delay preparation any longer.

LTS i think there are more and more people like your friend coming around day by day, i have over heard many conversations of people as i pass by talk of coming financial stresses... and im seeing alot of "non-camping" type people in the camping section of stores...

Good link LTS, as I read the article, I couldn't help notice the steady climb on Gold in the charts to the left. Watch for an October surprise, not a question of if, but when now. That combined with the H1N1, it would be wise to buy extra food and water. The Fed was created to destroy America, but this derivitives thing has given China the control of the sword. It is one of many weapons to in their box.
Why did Chinese kids laugh, because they knew that only Americans have been kept from the truth, the rest of the world knows what's fixing to happen, for some it may be to late, but some have prepared, and you may not be able to locate us soon. Get that place in the country now.

Everybody I just want to say there's a day or a time comeing that it will get so bad on Earth you'll wish the Mountains would fall on you to hide you.
That's pretty serious is'nt it ? You can make provishion for this time but it want be enough and you can hide but many will be found and prosecuted.
You can dispute if you want to but We are in the last days though other events have to take place, but were there with many events already taken place.
Sometime in the not so far future the Anti-Christ will appear and then even though times leading up to him appearing are unbearable It will be alot worst unless you recieve his mark you'll die a horrible death.
Sounds like a bad fairy tail does'nt it, but it's true.
So what are your plans for your life and what are you going to do to spare you and your familys from these horrible times ahead ?
There is one way to survive all this suffering and probable death and thats through Jesus Christ the son of God who inspired men to write the Holy Bible and who also created Heaven and Earth and the things that are in them.
Now I don't mean to start an uproar or a debate but many of you should know I'm really telling the truth.
Do this...Get alone somewhere and ask God if he's real and if I trust in your son Jesus Christ to save me, I'll be saved and have eternal life.
You gotta mean it and you'll soon see a change begin to happen in your life. The Bible says you'll start to become a New Creature. All your sins and unrightousness will be forgiven and you'll actualy become a son or daulter of God. many here have told what a Great Father they've had. me included. Your father in Heaven will be even a greater Father to you and his son Jesus will be your brother.
Did your earthly Father if you had a good one take good care of you ? So will this one and much more. He command his Love towards you so he can't break it and if you seek him you'll have a very blessed life though many don't. You'll still have every day to day problems but this God that loves you so much that has made you his son or daulter through your acceptance of his son Jesus makes a way out for all the problem that might come your way.
If we mess up and sin and I promise you will, while you live in these fleshly bodys, Jesus said ...If we confess our sins he's honest and just to forgive us our sins. WOW !!!
Man oh man you talk about fair !!!! You can't beat that !!! What a wonderful God we have to continually forgive us because we are screw up's !!!!
So Please I beg you. Give it some serious thought because the future holds many sorrows ahead and with God as our Heavenly Father we can make it through these bad times a head.

As we enter into the unknow and know it's comeing LTS everyone should prepare for it and make provishion.
In the Bible it says... If the Strongman of the house knows a Thief is comeing.
Does the Strongman not prepare for the Thief ??? So like wise so should we.
So does not God give us since to prepare ???

I dont want to cause trouble but i truly believe that this isnt the end times everyone thinks it is. If u look at history things have been worse a whole lot worse than this. and there has never been a time when people werent 100% sure that theirs was the time the end was coming. Think about the Black Plague 1/3 of the population of europe killed in a years time. what came of this it forced Change that is what will happen with this set of events. I dont want to argue or fight about it im just putting out how i feel about this. Be prepared but remember how many times people have said what you are saying only to realise that they were wrong. and then realise that like everything else alot of this information could be false. once more dont crucify me for saying this it is just my opinion lol

I tend to be a pessimist generally, based on my life experiences. I've found a workable philosophy (notice I don't say it's a good philosophy) is to prepare for the worst, and then thank God when things don't turn out to be as bad as what you prepared for. Good preparations are never wasted.

| A lot has been said here about how to prepare so I won't rehash it. This I will say. Unnecessary debt will keep a lot of people from preparing for the worst. Even when we had a strong and raging upward economy, people were spending money faster than they could make it and now they are just precariously living mortgage to mortgage with no credit and two or three bankruptcies on their credit records. This country was given a golden opportunity for long term prosperity after the Reagan Revolution. We had low interest rates, manageable debt, investment incentives, and we were flush with cheap energy. Those God given opportunities were squandered. What is there to show for it after just nineteen short years? The 90s was an economic illusion based on what economists now call the "hollow economy" that was rife with warning signs and economic indicators that were glossed over or ignored outright. Now the country; from the American consumers to the Congress "who is the mirror image of the people who put them in office" are running around looking for the panic button. Dept! Pay down the debt! Recovery begins from there.

Americans talk about freedom on one hand and enslave themselves to the banks on the other. Dumb. I think being debt-free is the foundation for any freedom personal or national. i'm confused. how will getting rid of our debts help us when it hits the fan or the anti-christ comes? wouldn't i be better off going into debt to aquire the stuff i need to get by when the time comes?
