No idea, but I'd like to know too. I got my eye on the 220 Swift Target model.

Product Review

There is an excellent review of a .220 Swift version in the 2003 GUN BUYER'S ANNUAL, produced by Harris Outdoor Magazines. In short, their test gun produced a .25" group @ 100 yards with Federal 52 gr match ammo, and .50" group @ 100 yards with Remington 50 gr PTBT ammo.

I have one in .308, but haven't had the opportunity to shoot it

I can also point you to the following link on this particular model:

I'll see what I can do, Teapot. I bought the rifle, bore-sighted a BSA 6-24x50 scope, and mounted a Harris bipod. And there its sat!!! If nothing else, its the prettiest rifle I've ever seen.

I've got some portuguese NATO ammo to break it in, and Black Hills 168gr. match ammo to get serious with. I'll see how things work out in the near future, and post the results.

Hey Guy's. I am new to this forum, but I am not new to Ruger's. I have 2 of the KM77VT Target rifles. One is in 243 and the other is in 25-06. I am very PLEASED with both of these rifles. I have been happy with the new LC6 triggers in these rifles. Ruger should put them in all their rifles. These are beautiful rifles, but most important is they are shooters. I have deer hunted with both rifles and have been sucessful. My opinion is buy the rifle, you will not be disappointed. I shoot factory loads and I am amazed with the accuracy. If you reload, they probly will be fantastic..Bigman

It should shoot better than you can shoot

and by all means do not cripple it with cheap optics. Buy a high quality scope to get high quality results from a high quality rifle.
