I got stock in all those companies! There goes my 401k. Again! I hope I can sell all these guns for more than I paid for them.

Thanks for the informative post

I appreciate it.

Note: A very common denominator is the massive debt these companies accumulated on the hope they would keep making more and more money to retire the debt. Far too many people put far too much faith in the bond market thinking there are just assets everywhere to secure the bonds. Well, as we can see this is not happening in the cases of a large number of multinationals.

AMD = a tricky legal situation. The European Union and others are seriously looking at INTEL for a variety of abusive and illegal actions to dominate the market thus keeping AMD from competing. If AMD comes out a winner the resulting lawsuit against INTEL will stabilize the firm.
Otherwise, AMD is another firm with good products that cannot carry their debt load.

Again, thanks for the timely and informative post.

Food for thought…
I’m by far not a Wall Street trader but, when the govt bailed out certain companies with out telling everyone who got the billions…
Isn’t that a kind of insider trading?

Don't worry. It's OK. The Fed says the "recession" is over.

Reminds me of the guy in the final scene of "Animal House", standing on the mailbox shouting "Don't be alarmed! All is well!".

All that means is we are at rock bottom. Things will get better but it will not like like the flip of a switch. I used to work for a competitor of one of those companies. Glad I'm out of that industry!
