C&R Address Change

I recently had my address changed by the county. I still live in the same physical location, they just changed the house number.

I know I am supposed to change my address with the BATF for my C&R. My question is, would it be legal for me to change my C&R address to an address where I don't live like my parents home?

This may be a stupid question but the reason I'd like to do that is I'm never home when the UPS guy brings my guns so no one is there to sign for it.

Don't quote me on this, but it needs to go to your permanent address. If you own a home, that is where it goes. I have heard of people my age keeping the address as their parents, since that is what they use as a permanent address because of the frequent apartment hopping. Might be worth looking into, I recommend calling the sheriff or digging any pertinent info from BATFE's website before doing that though.

Your premesis address must be the location where your collection is kept. Your mailing address can be anyplace that you choose.

How long did it take to get your updated license?
I'm going through withdrawals, not being able to order any C&R guns.
Century has some MN m38's for sale, and I just have to have one!

I don't exactly remember the form #,but you should have one in all that paperwork that they sent you when you first got your license. If you don't have it,you can call the BATFE,and they will gladly send you one.
It is real easy to fill out.You just have to make sure that you give your chief LEO a copy for there records for the town you live in.
