Selling a rifle

Hey guys, looking to sell my ak and buy another one probably a 5.45 saiga. Anyway, is there anything special that I have to do to sell a rifle? I have no clue what the steps are to sell it.

Thanks
Mitchell

Face to face doesn't require anything special, do yourself a favor though and get the persons name and phone number just incase.

Best way is to sell it on GunBroker, find a local dealer that will do a transfer for you and pay them to use their license and ship it for you.

Cool, I'm wanting to sell my GP WASR 10/63 with refinished wood, 6 3o round mags, and around 500 rounds of Yugo Mil surplus. What you think it's worth? I got a number in my head but don't know if its good or not.

I would say 700 for the whole shabang, you might be able to squeeze 800 maybe a little more. But it would definitely sell for 700.

See if you can find a standerized bill of sale at WalMart or somewhere and fill it out and make sure to write the serial number on it to.

I would go with the Saiga, as I am

Ordering tomorrow, I am a bit excited!

I plan on documenting the conversion this time as there is only one up on youtube right now, so maybe shed some more light in areas that are a bit confusing.

Yeah I would love a 5.45 but that PSL is calling me too. If I do the saiga though, I deff. want it to look right with the front sight block and 74 style comp.

Tell me this, does the bolt have any hang on the saiga's b/c I know you got one right? I'm just wondering b/c thats one thing other than the mag wobble that I can't stand on the romanian one, is the action really smooth on the saiga's?

Yes, the Saiga's action is smooth no hang, no mag wobble, none of those silly things.

I sold my WSAR-10 in Feburary. DON'T DO IT!! There will always be a sad lonly place in the gun safe where your rifle once was. Save up and get another gun. I really miss mine, even with all its faults it had a lot of character. I am now looking to get another one.

that is probably a good plan, if they really do go under, then im betting that saigas take a big jump in price soon after the bankrupcy is offical.

I just got a Century-built GP75. It doesn't have a mag wobble. Hell, the mag well is so tight, some of my mags don't even fit. It sure does have the bolt hang up, though, and it jams like crazy.

I'm getting a Saiga.
