In these parts you have to kill somebody or rape them to be a viable criminal case. I wouldent expect too much to happen there.
the boat load of Kobuk drunks who robbed at gun point them float hunters a few years back did get what I'd expect from the AK court system.
Our cops & courts dont want to hurt anyones feelings so a harmless thing like a theft will most likely be a good pee-pee whacking and a stern lecture be bout it.
Last spring I had a drunk fella pull a shot gun on me in my own home and he was muttering I'll Kill You! as he pulled the trigger on a empty chamber, in ythe end the fella did 80 days in a Nome 1/2 way house for two misdaminors he still gets to keep the guns he owns cept the 12ga shotgun forfit to the cops I could go on and on of the stupid stuff that goes on here these days I pack a loaded revolver have the kids back me up with a loaded shot gun when checking night noises now.
Cops and laws are like a padlock they keep the honist ones honist
The chronic criminals mostly run amuck unhinderd.
