Lets see those range targets ???
This is my first target from my new .45 1911 . anything out of the orange was from rapid firing after I got bored !LOL!!!!!!!!!

I always end with a rapid fire. It seems to drain the last ounce of whatever out of me and lets me get into the car a cleansed soul!!!!
Amen to that. Seems that between loading mags and puttin up new targets even the sticky ones is a drain. So the rapid fire is a good ending haha. Or a long-range (25+ yds) slow-fire is fun too.

I figure in a real life situation , your probably not going to be able to ask the bad guy to stand still so you can shoot him !!So hopefully ,IF I ever need it ,by practicing just pulling up and emptying the clip and hitting what I'm shooting at ,It might save my life one day ?? Oh yea!! and it's FUN too!!!LOL!!!!!

For a realistic challenge to the rapid fire drill, put up two targets, at least 3 feet apart, and alternate shots between them. It will give you the practice of trying to rapidly acquire the the moving target.
It is an interesting drill. It will tell you a lot about your actual combat readiness.

Nice shooting and nice SA. What ammo were you using, factory or reloads?
I was shooting a combination of Winchester White Box 230 gr. FMJ, Winchester White Box 230 gr. JHP (which is what I use in the gun for home defense), and some of my reloads which utilized a 230 gr. lead round nose bullet.
Very pleased with the way the gun has performed thus far, still fairly new, having only put about 200 rounds through it.

But I couldn't help but notice. That guy in the target is quite large, build/muscle wise, and they give him a gun 20X too small for him and 3X too small for his hand. lol

He's a big guy who likes to tote small guns, because he is used to pulverizing people with his bare hands!

I think that's so the shooter learns confidence and doesn't become intimidated by the target.

You have to try shooting golf balls, they're fun, easy to see and they go alonnnnggggg ways when hit dead centered! I need to get 45's out to some "golfiing".
