Gonna go hiking through the forest today with my Ladyfriend. Should be fun. However, the rain will have to hold off for us to do that.

I'm up, coffee's on, and I'm on this thing. It's raining outside so no deer hunting this morning. Gonna run the brush through the .300win mag and hopefully get to the range for some sighting in for the upcoming antelope hunt in South Dakota. Met a man in the ghetto who smokes a mean brisket so I gave him some wild boar ribs and one hindquarter and he's cooking that up for me and my hunting buddies for this afternoon BBQ before we go out for the afternoon hunt(rain permitting).

Well, I WAS going to be doing a bit of side work and grab $100 to put in the pot... but since it's raining, can't do that... Woke up at the buttcrack of dawn for no good reason, I guess.

Went out to a tag sale by our favorite pro. Didn't get as good deals as we usually do because the owners were present, but got some nice stuff, including a Skateluge street luge that makes a great sensory toy for Junior - no way will be let him take it out of the house for about another 8 or 10 years! But for now he can lie on it and roll it on the floor and it makes him happy; he has a big grin on his face and is yelling "WHEEE!" as he rolls around in the kitchen.

I'd hoped to go to a couple or three sales since we're near the end of the tag sale season hereabouts. (It pretty much parallels baseball season; in March, there will be a very few, then things spick up starting in April and go into high gear in the summer, then taper off to the point they're pretty much over by the time the World Series ends.) But Her Imperial Majesty spent our little all at this one sale. Not complaining; we got great stuff for the house, ourselves and friends of the family.
