There are many out there That will keep their oath and do their duty to deny unconstitutional orders including myself but I feer there are not enough in the military in my generation that even understand what it means to disobey an unlawful order.

My oath has NO expiration date! To my dying day, if needed, I will be there for my nation, and for my comrades, to uphold that very oath, so help me God!!!

I (state your name) do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to the regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

i also swore ( i was allowed to affirm) this one:

I (state your name) do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; That I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

Well, just wrinkly-dinkly tie me up, and send me to the cleaners, 'cause i ain't smart enough for all the folks hereabouts. Yes sir, I took the oath, four times, and never found it to be a joking matter. I was NOT an officer, just a simple NCO who did his job to the best of his ability. I will remember all the good times, and all the bad times, that I experienced while in the uniform of the United States of America. I refuse to trash the memory of those I served with, and will ALWAYS remember them as the best of the best. My feelings, and my opinion, simply put, as usual. I just ain't smart enough to keep up with ya'll!!!!!!!!!!
