You finally got the bug! You really do need one of the Finnish rifles, they shoot very nice! Great pics, as usual, and yes, we have been a bit damp out here! I need to get a new rifle final sighted, but it's too darn wet, and I haven' been able to put up a cover. Enjoy, Earl, and more pics will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Hi Robert,
The fella at the Milsurp shop had a M-39 Unissued Finn model VKT Hex Receiver. He was asking $250.00 so i don't know if thats a good price er not i guess i will have to check around.
This particular had a 3.5 PU scope that came with it, i think he said it was a 1942... nice package maybe......

Earl, that price is great. The Unissued condition M39 made by VTK run for about 350 no less. And what do you mean by the scope? Did it have a scope attached to the side already.. If so then someone done it themselves and the rifle isn ot unissued anymore i guess hehehe. That scope and mount alone is $100+ so that makes it a $150 rifle.

Actually, if you look closely, all of the shots fall within the outter circle, as that outter circle is drawn off-center down and to the left.. Great gun, great shootin. I can't wait to bust out my M44 for some good old fun at the range. Thanks for sharing.

Edit:

Is that Wolf ammo or some Hungarian surplus or...?
