Rashid

We are going tomorrow to pick up a Rashid this nifty little gun is a little like the Hakim and an SKS mix it shoots SKS ammo and has a Bayo. like an SKS. We found one under 400. and they seem to go for 650 if you can find one and this one is in great shape.

I have been shooting one for a while now. it's about as accurate as any SKS. about a minute of pie plate at 100 yds. But it's a sweetheart to shoot. it's got a nice two stage trigger and the gas from the shell going off doesn't hit you in the eye.
The only problem with mine was the back of the bottom of the mag. broke. I've silver soldered it, but I haven't put the mag. back together yet.
I've been shooting gas checked lead bullets in mine(along with an Albanian Sks. it's been a trip. So far good old russion steel case ammo works about the best with both guns(Wolf is worse). But I reload the 7.62x39 and hornady V-max bullets will turn your SKS into a sniper rifle. These are the 123 gr V-Max bullets number 3142. Try it, you'll like it.(I've only shoot them at fifty yards but some of them are getting 1"groups at fifty yards.)
the lead bullets were really a minute of pie plate or worse.
These bullets were sized to .311 and the Hornady's are sized to .310??? go figure.

and then take into account those that have been destroyed during use, in fires and such since they were made,, then those imported that may have been lost to fires and such in the US. thats what i love about unique and hard to find rifles! only makes them rarer.
