I tried just a mustache and my wife thought it looked bad all by itself. I bet allot of other guy's would agree. But you are right we tend to let our hair get a little crazy, and clean and neat is allot better...

[QUOTE=cjleete;1009657]I'm 40 something and mine still comes in patchy. Also, the itching makes me shave it off after two weeks. Any tips on how to make it not itch? Facial hair is a must-have for deer camp.[

When you take a shower, shampoo it and use conditioner on it. It makes the hair softer so it doesn't dig in when it starts to curl. It also helps to brush it so the hair lays straighter.

If you make a poultice of 1 week old horse manure and leave it on for 1 week, that should take care of the itching part. May stimulate growth also......Tony

I shaved my beard recently, and discovered I had more chins than a Chinatown phone book.

AFA facial hair, it's a genetic thing. You'll either have it or you won't. It'll either be thick, or it won't. For most guys, it's either too much or not enough, nobody's happy.

This will also take care of any girlfriends, friends, co-workers, family members, and so on. You will then be all alone and can move to a deserted island and live a life of solice and solitude, allowing you to grow your beard to the ground.

I had no facial hair until I turned 25, then it all just appeared out of nowhere.

However... be forewarned that overdoing it with the fish oil tablets (especially if you drink a lot of coffee, as I do) can cause some SERIOUS DISTURBANCES in your lower GI tract ... thus I no longer take the dang things!

not fish oil
castor oil and maple syrup 1/2 and 1/2 rubbed into the skin where hair is desired.
left on the skin overnight.
midas taught me that trick.
it works great!
