I had a huge rat problem for a while. traps killed a couple. (i wasn't gonna take a risk with poisoning them and having them rot in a wall somewhere). then I got given a cat. haven't seen a rat since. my cat is affectionate, waits for me by the door, plays fetch (a bit). I was at the pound the other day to make a donation and look at the kittens. (yeah, i'm a big softie). I walked through the dog section and about 3 /4 of the dogs were pitbulls. I'd live to give one a home, but my schedule wouldn't be fair to it. and the cats would freak out. i wish tough guys would stop getting these animals. a bunch of em had the cut down ears. really pi$$3d me off. if I ever have to bug out though i'd rather have a dog than a cat, but the cat will be coming anyway. (lord only knows how though)
