Went and shot some clay birds with a couple of friends and my daughter and my son-in-law. We had a great time...

Watched it rain all day. We have a tropical depression giving Texas much needed rain. Stocked up on herbs and food.

I helped cook turkey legs for my Rotary Club. At the local Gladfest Festival we'll sell over 2,000 legs from Friday evening till Sunday afternoon.

You need another doctor !!! I had that problem but with less numbness than you.
Get your doctor to prescribe you a 2 week packet of of steroids. If your lucky it will pop in the disc in your back.

This problem is comeing off your back and you can do all the pain management you want to and your not going to get better !!!!

Also put up a Prayer request Thread where we can pray for you. You have a buldgeing disc and you could make it worst if you don't do what I'm telling you.

God Bless you and I pray this can be fixed with out haveing surgery later ...Mike

My neighbor and I ran out to the cabin. We taped drywall and installed a toilet at the cabin. I turned the water back on inside the cabin to test my plumbing abilities. No leaks, but the stuff looks and smells like $&!%. Whatever has been in the water softener and Kinetico system for the last 14 months is pretty yukky. Then some friends stopped by. That killed about an hour's time. We drove home and went went out for wings and a few Sam Adams Oktoberfest beers to celebrate my birthday.

I was in bed at 10:00 and now I am going into work. YUK.

Got up this morning at 0515 Iraqi time and went to my work site, monitoring the gear to make sure it does not go down. Otherwise have been surfing the net.

I have a mint M88 in .308. I'm also looking for a 100 to go with the 490 and 88. I saw 4-5 100's at the local gun show several weeks ago, and the prices were very good, in my opinion. They ranged from $400-$500, and each rifle was in very nice shape. The problem was that my wallet wasn't in very good shape, and I'll have to wait until spring to get one.

I've got the .308s in both. Now I'm looking for .284's, But I would buy a "shooter" .308 in either to drag around in the brush.

The spring I saw some really nice .284's for $600-700 (a steal) at a gun show by my cabin. Sadly, I had to pass as they didn't take cards, and I hadn't planned on being at a gun show so I didn't have cash with me. It sucks to be 200 miles from home on a sunday with no way to get cash to pick up the gun you have been looking for.

I went to bed wondering how they got it to where it was set up LOL

It had a top on it that whom ever added and shooting ports were cutout on all 4 sides.

It did'nt have any wheels on it and the road leading up to it was a 4-wheeler road.

It was sure big enough to camp in to LOL.

I'll see if Ned will take a picture of it to put on here...A.H
