What have you done today ?

My hunting buddy and I went and fertilized a food plot this morning and then drove around on our 4-wheelers replaceing batteries in corn feeders.

The wild hogs are are haveing a field day getting the corn that's meant for the Deer.

We cut a lot of brush sticking out into the main road that leads to his hunting lease

Then we went rideing for miles on our 4 wheelers to cool off. It was cold this morning but once the sun was up it got hot.

Had a great time in the woods and saw a lot of nice hunt'in woods.
The terrain we rode on was mud, hills and drove through shallow water, our 4-wheelers got a good work out and so did we.

I regret forgetting to ask him to bring his camara...We saw something weve never seen before LOL !!! Someone had taken a County Dumpster and made a Deer Stand out of it.
It set up on a wood deck about 4 foot off the ground and it was on someone else's property.

If anyone is missing about 7 to 8 foot long 4 to 5 foot wide steel dumpster we found it ...A.H

An entire steel dumpster?! lol, that's subtle on the back of a flatbed, or on the crane required to lift the damned thing!

My day has been spent sleeping....

Went to get my teeth seen to at the dentist. Halfway through the session, Her Imperial Majesty phoned me to tell me to get myself back home because there was a biannual rummage sale in a rich town south of here. The fact she had said we needed to cut way back on going to estate sales, tag sales and auctions "because we have so much stuff we don't know what-all we have" fell on deaf ears.

So after I was done, I went back home and we hotfooted it to the sale. Her Imperial Majesty had a wonderful time. She bought an oak medicine cabinet ca. 1880 with its original mirror and trim, a china cream and sugar set she liked, and a Douglas MacArthur miniature Toby mug.

I had to mind Junior and keep him under control, so I had no fun at all and didn't have a chance to look at much, to my displeasure. This happens far too often at these sales, I'm bloody tired of it and I have told her so repeatedly.

And she wonders why I don't discuss laying away a gun at the gun shop and paying it off bit by bit?

I went shooting with Palladin8 and his wife. Shot the AR, M44, Enfield, 10/22 and my HK.
P8 Let me shoot his .480 Ruger. Wow that was cool.
A great time was had by all until the BLM ranger showed up and kicked us out. Oh well. They should put up bigger "area closed" signs.

Did the dishes, fed the dogs, cleaned the garage, vacumned the house, cut the grass, cleaned both decks, and took the hot rod out for a ride...

Well,

my day is so boring compared to yours I might start crying if I wrote about it.

Seriously, I hope you keep up good experiences this weekend.
Have a great one.

Woke up, took my dog to pee. Ate some lucky charms. Remodeled a bathroom, went to a gun show. Bought a 50 round drum for my 10/22. Got bored started taking apart some of my guns, now I'm to lazy to put them back together. It's nearly 5 so I guess I'll finish off the rest of my Jim Beam and watch some college football.

Pretty busy--
The crappola started out bright and early with
cleaned the bird cage
washed the clothes
took out the garbage
swept up the garage
paid some bills

Then the day picked up with
smoked 1 cigar (wow, very enjoyable!)
watched part of Alabama beating Kentucy
watched Michigan State beat Michigan (equally enjoyable)
cleaned my Kel Tec P11 (always fun to smell like Hoppes)
enjoying the LSU and Georgia game (my wife went to LSU, so you know who I have to root for)
going out tonight to the local theater

Sorry, AH, it wasn't as much fun as yours, but enjoyable nonetheless, buddy.

Cleaned rifles, prepped for the range tomorrow, did dishes, washed laundry, lubed and prepped brass, reloaded a batch of 7.62X54R for my M44 Carbine tomorrow, did more laundry, ate a store-bought pizza, watching PBS Special on National Parks (Ken Burn's latest). And surfing the net.......

It was horrible!
Had to sleep late. Fixed a light meal. Took the AR and the 22 bolt gun to the range, both suppressed. Shot a couple hundred rounds and now fixing a pot of chili.
How long can I go on like this…?

Well the farmers plans were to go fetch a 4' 8' pool table a standard model. He paid the guy and we had to take it apart and carry it up three flights of steps out to his truck. The slate was over an inch thick and the table to my knowledge was around a 1972 model built real good and in great shape. He paid 300.00 for it . He took me to breakfast and as most of you know i ate like a hog and wiped my plate with my last piece of toast. I asked the waitress when she was gonna give me my breakfast instead of this clean plate..and you know most young girls, she just looked at me and my poker straight face and said what did you order...ROTFL........Well we got it home put it back together and played a game of 8 ball. I was woopin his backside and as i called the 8 ball in the side pocket i also said at this angle i will scratch so he won. I went home to do my own chores....

AH have you seen my septic steel dumpster, it's about 8 ft.X4ft. and its missin again and i can't find it.......ROTFLMAO.......

I just moved so I'm trying to get everything unpacked and sorted. The great thing is the house has a great bench in the basement already set, so I just need to get the press bolted down and organize all my stuff. I hate moving but thats exciting.

As for now its spectating college football.

Soccer Games

Watched my kids 7 and 10 kick butt in their soccer games. The 7 year old is in his second year, plays goaly and shut them out ! Won 5-0. Then mounted a carrier to my mountain bike to haul my professional video camera and tripod, about 50 lbs worth. Miller Time.

A dead tree fell on my neighbors fence last night and 9 of his cows got loose. He's older and has problems getting around, so I offered too find the cows while he repaired the fence.

Usually they only go a quarter mile or so but I found the last one about three miles away around 4:30pm. The crops are still out in the fields, so I did alot of walking.

Miller time.
