Hi i hope somebody can help i just got a .50 cal muzzle loader and i bought the hodgdon triple seven pellets that saw there 50 gr a piece i was thinking the look really short to be 50gr a piece do 2 of them equal 50gr or is each of the little pellets 50gr here is a link to the stuff i bought

each one if 50 grains, it's my understanding 777 is spicier than pyrodex

Yep, I have some of the 50 grain pellets and the 30 grain pellets. I have used pyrodex in the past, but only use 777 in pellet or loose form now, and I love it's simplicity.
My specific gun says it will handle 150 grains of pyrodex or blackpowder equivalent, but since 777 is something like 15% more potent, I just stick with two pellets, or if I am tossing round balls, about 60 grains of loose powder.

so that means my push rod will barely be sticking out of the barrel kinda a short push rod on the cva wolf i thought i was right with them being 50 gr. but i wanted to make sure

I like it a lot but have yet to shoot mine i had a chance to shoot a cva wolf at 100 yards and made 3 inch groups i think the gun can do better but i am not the best shot i think they are a really good starter gun for 179.99 for the nickle camo model you can not go wrong

There was an extension for the ramrod in the box that came with mine. It screws into the end of the rod. Also, I'm sure you know, the "business end" extends also, but any way you look at it the ramrod that comes with the Wolf is about worthless. I've seen better curtain rods.

I just bought an extra, longer ramrod for mine that I use at the range. The standard one will do for the one time that I might need to reload hunting.

Other than the ramrod, I really like the Wolf. Mine is a good shooter. I use two of the 777 pellets, a 295 gr powerbelt bullet and Winchester 209 primers made for the 777 powder.
