I'd say all involved had best be glad that little 2' or 3' bank was there...it deflected the blast upwards...because it looked like they were still within the 10 yard 100% kill radius to me. A bunch of chowderheads for sure.

From the way the camera guy was apologizing, it sounded like maybe he fired a gun or lit a firecracker to scare the grenade boy...causing both the POP and the grenade fumble.

It might have been another country with one of those tourist-type attractions where you can play with live ordinance. The guy in the white shirt was probably the "safety officer". Why they let him pull it with his teeth and without a firm grip on the lever is beyond me. It takes something like 10 lbs of force to pull a pin, that's asking to do a number on your teeth. I also don't get why he didn't just jerk the kid back and kiss dirt instead of trying to wrestle him back.

Here is another similar video with out the idiot dropping the grenade:

Imagine that. Will all the dopes out there that need ATFE attention, ATFE ignores them and goes after responsible and law abiding gun owners instead.

Unfortunately this guy doesn't qualify for the Darwin Awards. To qualify, one must remove themselves from the gene pool....

We are all just victims of our own gene pool, it seems like someone pissed in his...

Thanks for the explanation. I guess that variant of grenade does make a pop when you release the lever.
