So its my birthday today,and i want to go shoot off some rounds! i just got a call from the guy who owns land i usually shoot on and he said i cant shoot there on account of bow hunters! so i need a place to shoot!
is there any inexpensive or free places to shoot in the kc area? im willing to drive! please help me out if you can!

Ninjay, check out the Missouri Dept of Conservation web site. There are several conservation ranges. Lake City range is close to you and should provide you with what you want. It's the same one Thrillbilly found for you.

I know you meant it as a joke but where I'm located there are way too many shot up road signs that cost the state/county a lot of tax dollars to replace.

Shot up road signs are great ammunition for the anti-gunners. Gun owners should show others that they can act responsibly when entrusted with a lethal weapon.
Shot up roadsigns turn the undecided into decided anti-gunners and to tell the truth, who can counter their arguments??
