O-KE-DOKE ain't JIFFY POP

I was just sitting here eating some O-KE-DOKE hot cheese pop corn ( I love that stuff) and thought .............man , some jiffy pop would be good about right now !!!!

Who remembers the jiffy pop pop corn ? you know , aluminiun pan with a foil top that rised when you popped the corn over an open flame .
Melt butter and pour ..........that was gooooood stuff.

Are you sure they don't still make it? We used to beg my mother to buy that stuff . . . but corn in a bag tossed in the microwave was much cheaper.

I remember jiffy-pop. I also remember alot of black folks wearing reynolds wrap on their heads for some type of hair treatment, and we used to call them jiffy-pop heads. No joking...

I think they still sell jiffy pop here in NJ. We eat alot of air popped popcorn in my house. I hate that microwave stuff, it tastes like the paper its packaged in.

I'll stick with my Cuisinart popcorn machine with the Silverstone base that I grease up with coconut oil. Tastes just like the movies back when they had that 'overflowing bucket' popping system!

you all can eat all the pop corn. I can't stand the smell of it and don't want it in my house.
